EleVate has been officially in existence since 2002. Up until that point, the members who form the band today were gathering both stage and studio experiences in various musical projects. Amongst others, the song „What Reason“ was produced during this time and received much attention under the Deshima Label. After a few weeks of observation, Deshima offered the band a recording contract. EleVate´s first album appeared with the title „Mankind´s Dream“ in spring 2002 and this opened doors in the world of concert, radio and TV. The following single „I will find you“ was broadcast all over Germany, producing interest in even the largest radio stations. The band was booked for various festivals, and supporting artists including Nena appeared in five concerts on the tour.

The first successes were followed, however, by a dramatic setback. Due to financial difficulties, the recording company had to break off their support at, what was for the band, a critical stage. Suddenly the future looked uncertain. The fourth band member at that time, guitarist Angel, also decided to leave the group. Another obstacle was the fact that the rights for the „Mankind´s Dream“ album were tied up in the affairs of the now bankrupt recording company.

Despite the enormity of these problems, the three remaining musicians, Andy, Marcus and Steve decided to continue with new songs and new business partners. It was to take a while until the new album took shape. In the meantime, eleVate gave regular concerts. In Björn Eisele, the band found a guest musician who was to play bass at almost all of eleVate´s club and festival concerts over the next few years. The band also developed an Unplugged Show, which they took to Irish pubs and other smaller venues all over Germany.

The preproduction of their next album and a „test“ concert in the Munich Hard Rock Cafe impressed the Artists & Acts Label and a record contract was secured.

After a long break from releasing anything new, eleVate eventually returned with the single „Not Out of Mind“ at the beginning of 2007. It was followed by „Through a Child´s Eyes“ and „Beyond Imagination“, two successful singles which received much play from the biggest radio stations. In mid-2008, the second album, „…….every single day!“ was released in which the difficult experiences of the previous years were explored in text and music. The main message of the album is the importance of the moment and „every single day“. A considerable number of concert offers followed, including the opportunity to be Stanfour´s special guest on their „Wild Life Tour“.

It wasn´t too long before the next releases appeared. The single, „Time Will Fly“ in 2009 contained new rocky material. Between concerts, eleVate was working hard on a new album. This time, the band aimed to do as much of their own production as possible. The studios in which eleVate had recorded parts of their previous album , at the time standing empty , were rented and filled with the necessary equipment. The „Day of Days“ in February 2010 bridged the gap during production and the single was released as a gift to the fans.
The forthcoming album appeared in 2011 with the title „No Shadow Without Light“. It is eleVate´s most varied and musically diverse album so far. The album explores both the bright and the dark side of life. The songs are correspondingly rich in contrast.

The album was advertised with the singles, „Seize The Day“ and, „The place where I belong.“ The title, „Seize The Day“ can be translated into German as „Nutze den Tag“ or into Latin by the probably more familiar expression, „Carpe Diem“ – a slogan which eleVate has certainly lived out in its eight years of existence.
