Anything can happen! Something amazing can happen in a single day and change
the rest of your life – for better or for worse. This is the theme running
through the „...every single day“ eleVate album.
The album is a dream come true for the trio, consisting of singer Andy Fechner,
guitarist Marcus Fechner and drummer Steve. „We made the album to be exactly
what each one of us would like to have on our own CD shelf.
What has resulted is a persuasive work steeped in atmosphere with lyrics full of feeling.
The whole is embedded in melodious harmonies, communicating a romantic touch throughout.
„The last three years have shaped the band a great deal“, Andy concludes.
„We’ve learnt a lot about life and about people. We were on the road most
of the time and experienced quite a few things. Our experiences have more or less spilled over naturally into our music and lyrics. With the necessary objectivity, we could connect each song to the time when it came about and give it its own individual story. It was only afterwards that it became clear that we were processing something through our own songs. We were somehow able to gain strength and courage through them and we hope to communicate that same joy and hope to other people through our music.
As the album’s first single „Not Out Of Mind“ has occupied a place on
the play lists of many German radio stations, a second single from the forthcoming album
has been released on 16 November, „Through A Child’s Eyes“. The song
raises the question of quality of life, and how to intensify it by reviving the inner
child and keeping it alive. The lyrics in singer Andy’s song were influenced by
the lessons of Antoine De Saint-Exupéry’s „The Little Prince“.
It’s become a rock song with a message that goes far beyond the superficial.
Before the complete album "…every single day!" appeared on 27
June 2008, eleVate released a final single entitled "Beyond Imagination" on
18 April. The text is about the vital questions that exist between the head and the heart.
"We want to ask the right questions in our songs. Only the listener can find the
right answers for him or herself", explain Andy, Marcus and Steve. ‘Feel what
it’s all about’, is, after all, both the refrain and the message.
